BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. — Promenade at Bonita Bay is readying Southwest Florida shoppers and visitors alike for the holiday season with its annual Festival of Lights, slated for Friday, December 1st, from 5 to 8 p.m. in The Center Court (26795 South Bay Drive in Bonita Springs).

Attendees are encouraged to take part in ‘Operation Santa,’ the Promenade’s partnership with the nonprofit Children’s Network of Southwest Florida, by donating a new unwrapped toy in exchange for FREE pictures with Santa Claus. The event will also include:

  • Live dance demonstrations by Enchanted Ballroom
  • Ornament-making party for children
  • Live music at The Center Bar
  • Food/drink specials and holiday refreshments throughout the shopping center
  • Children’s Network information on becoming a foster parent

Guests are also invited to shop until the Festival of Lights is complete, as well as dine at over 25 one-of-a-kind destinations such as DeRomo’s Gourmet Market & Restaurant, Molino’s Ristorante and Roy’s.

“On the west coast of Florida, we do not experience bone-chilling temperatures or a white Christmas, so the Promenade is creating its own version of holiday fun,” said Nicole Panio, Marketing & Public Relations Coordinator. “And of course, no matter where you are from, this season is about giving. Enjoy your family and friends, as well as the beautiful seasonal lights we have to offer, but do not forget to share some joy with those who are not as fortunate.”

To RSVP to the Festival of Lights, visit Facebook.com/PromenadeatBonitaBay/events. Those who are unable to make the December 1st event may drop new unwrapped toys off at Little Paris (26831 South Bay Drive, Suite 104) starting Wednesday, November 15th. Just as for all the Promenade stores, hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
