BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (Aug. XX, 2019) — Marine Arts Gallery will open the doors to its new location at Promenade at Bonita Bay on Thursday, August 1st, at 10 a.m. The venue of original fine art and collectibles is slated to reside at 26841 South Bay Drive, Suite 152, in Bonita Springs.

Marine Arts Gallery carries 19th-century marine paintings, as well as still life, floral work and contemporary pieces from marine artists whose work has been displayed throughout the country. They include Richard Loud, John Stobart, Terry Bailey, Dusan Kadlec, Ronalee Crocker, Marina Dieul, Shane Couch, Robert Bolster, Jack Saylor, Cindy House, Jim Plesh, Emile Gruppe, Jack Gray and A.E. Backus (1906-1990).

Established by Russell W. Kiernan in Salem, Massachusetts in 1968, Marine Arts Gallery started as the finest collection of the very best contemporary artists and evolved into the oldest gallery of marine-exclusive paintings in the U.S. Now, Peter Kiernan will run the gallery exclusively from the Promenade.

“The location allows us to better serve customers coming from both Lee and Collier counties who enjoy the undeniable value of precious art,” Kiernan said. “The Promenade encourages upscale, boutique retail surrounded by the luxurious beauty of this gorgeous region, so it’s the ideal home for this generational operation, especially as families from all over continue to move to the Gulf Coast.”

Marine Arts Gallery services include framing, restoration, appraisals, discreet purchases, shipping, and in-store and in-home consultations for painting selection and placement. Store hours mimic those of the Promenade — Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Those hours will change slightly from October 15th through April 30th — Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday hours at Marine Arts Gallery are available by appointment.
