BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (Dec. 30, 2020) — Promenade at Bonita Bay (26795 S. Bay Drive) is extending the hours
of the eighth seasonal farmers’ market by Local Roots, LLC. Every Saturday, from January 2nd through April 24th,
the outdoor attraction will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., giving the public an additional hour to shop and
reducing crowds during peak times.

The initiative is coupled with the Promenade’s preexisting mission to combat the coronavirus. This includes
asking farmers’ market guests to wear masks, practice social distancing, sanitize hands, not to touch products
unless they are buying them and not to gather in groups after purchasing products.
Farmers’ market vendors will continue to provide hand sanitizer at their booths as well as wear masks.
Additionally, they are still encouraging guests to pre-order items and make shopping lists to reduce the time
they spend at the market.

As a reminder, vendors are selling prepared foods and drinks for breakfast and lunch as well as fresh fruits and
vegetables, cut flowers and live plants, baked goods, seafood, organic cheeses and guacamole, salsas and
pickles, honeys and jams, artwork and crafts, etc.

New vendors include Bettina’s Tea, Blaze Bees Company, Blended Juices and Smoothies, Daily Delice,
Elderberry Elixir, Flying Eagle Kombucha, K-9 Kitchen, Pepper Street Studio, Pickle in Paradise, The Traveling
Salad Bar, and Twila Mae’s Chicken Salad.

Jean Baer and Betsy Ventura launched Local Roots in Lee County 13 seasons ago. Today, they have nine local
markets — Bonita Springs, Estero, Boca Grande, Fort Myers, Sanibel and Captiva — with the Promenade being
the exclusive Bonita Springs venue.
