Bennigan’s Returns To Bonita Springs; Casual Dining Restaurant Reopens Under New Ownership At The Promenade
NAPLES, FL. January 22, 2009 – The Lutgert Companies today announced the grand reopening of Bennigan’s Grill & Tavern at The Promenade at Bonita Bay in Bonita Springs, Florida. Under new ownership, the tavern-themed casual dining restaurant occupies approximately 7,000 square feet and has seating to accommodate 200 guests.
“We are very pleased to announce the return of Bennigan’s to The Promenade,” said Dougall McCorkle, Senior Vice President of Commercial Real Estate for The Lutgert Companies. “This restaurant has always been a popular draw for our shopping center but was unfortunately forced to close when the national parent company filed for bankruptcy last year. Bennigan’s is now under a new franchisee but it offers the same popular menu.”
Since 1976, Bennigan’s has been offering customers a diverse food and drink menu with an Irish influence in a classic grill & tavern setting. Bennigan’s menu is loaded with salads, burgers, steak and chicken entrees, sandwiches and desserts. Menu favorites include the Monte Cristo sandwich, Kilkenny Country Chicken Salad, Burger Bites, Boneless Buffalo Wings, and “Oh Baby” Back Ribs.
Bennigan’s is open for lunch, dinner and happy hour. A popular feature of the restaurant is the large outdoor gazebo, which is open late. Live music is offered on weekends and a number of special promotions are underway, said Denis Nazareth, the restaurant’s owner. Nazareth and his partners operate seven Bennigan’s locations across Florida and Texas.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, The Promenade is a premier shopping and dining destination offering more than 25 shops and restaurants, most of which are locally owned and operated.
